November 12 – Veteran’s Day – No School

November 20 – KK Thanksgiving Feast

November 21-23 – Thanksgiving break (no school)

November 27 – REEF Read-a-thon Kicks off

The crossing guard was told by her supervisor that her only duty is to cross the pedestrians, and she is not to direct traffic. For that reason, anyone turning right onto Rich Rd from Normandy will have to do so at your own risk. Also, please do not stop your car on the cross walk, and please make sure that your child is ready to exit the car as soon as your car is stopped in the car pool lane to expedite the process.

**BOX TOPS – Start saving and dropin the collection box located across from the office.**

**LOST AND FOUND – Please check the lost and found in the back of the cafeteria. There is a ton of stuff in the gym that needs to be claimed before it is donated.**

REMINDER PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING! This includes clothing, lunch boxes, water bottles, everything! Please check lost and found in the back of the cafeteria.

Cafeteria Volunteers are needed everyday. Time commitments are flexible. You can stay for one or both shifts. First shift is from 11-12 and the second shift is from 12-1. A sign up sheet did come home in your child’s binder or sign up online.

Parking/Drop Off:
With the continued construction, there is still NO PARKING on the North side of Rich (the school side) between the teachers’ parking lot and Oak Grove. There is NO PARKING in the teachers’ lot or the principal lot (in front of the main doors) during drop off and pick up times.

Parking is allowed on the South side of Rich Rd. and all side streets where there are NO cones. Parking is also allowed in both of the church parking lots. The church asks that you don’t walk on the grass. If you park on the South side of Rich please use the cross walk to cross Rich. Do NOT cross Rich through traffic.

The carpool line is for drop off ONLY. Adults and/or drivers are not to exit the car in the car pool line.  The student needs to exit the car where/when Safety Patrol opens the door. Please do not wait til the front of the line. The Safety Patrol students and other adults will help your student get to the correct door. If you want to walk your student to the door, you need to find a parking spot.
