Richland Elementary, a Memphis Shelby County School, is located in the heart of East Memphis and home to 860 students who come from all around our city. The dedication that our school’s teachers and families have for our students is unparalleled. The PTO works tirelessly to elevate the experience of all stakeholders including families, students, and staff. One of the most important aspects of our work is family engagement. Research shows that family involvement at a child’s school has positive outcomes on the academic performance of students. As such, the PTO works to create family experiences at the school to create meaningful engagement opportunities. While the PTO dutifully works to fundraise for these events, we also count on support from our local community. To that end, we humbly ask for your consideration in partnering with us this school year to support one of these efforts.
Accelerated Reader Prizes - Awards given to students for reading
5th Grade Graduation - End of year ceremony to send off our 5th graders to middle school
National Honors Society Ceremony - An opportunity to celebrate high performing 4th and 5th graders
Kindergarten Celebration - End of year ceremony to celebrate our kindergarteners’ first year of school
Grounds Beautification - Families work together three Saturdays a year to improve the school grounds
Trunk or Treat - Our main fall community event where all stakeholders will be together
Donuts with Grownups - An opportunity for families to come eat breakfast at school with students
Teacher Appreciation - Events throughout the year to encourage our teachers
Spring Fling - Our largest community event of the entire year (similar to a carnival)
Sponsorship Levels:
In-Kind: $100 or more gift card for our annual auction or goods/services (valued at $100 or more) for annual auction

Additional benefits may be given depending on value of donation or for in-kind plus financial contributions to our events.

Sponsors may also donate to our PTO general operating fund that targets all of our objectives. For a minimum donation of $50 you will receive a thank you ad with your company logo in one weekly email PTO blast and a thank you image with your company logo in one PTO Facebook post.
Richland PTO is a 501c3 organization and will provide you with our tax identification number for tax deduction purposes.
